One of my favorite designs, this necklace features a piece of seaweed I gathered on Monhegan Island, Maine—a place my family has returned to for years to paint, hike, unplug, and find inspiration. Located nearly 10 miles off the coast, Monhegan is known for its rugged beauty, crashing surf, and icy Atlantic waters. Every time I see this piece, I’m reminded of the quiet strength and resilience it takes for this seaweed to thrive along such a wild, rocky coastline.

The original seaweed was carefully cast in brass and finished with a rich layer of gold through electroplating, preserving every delicate detail of nature’s design. It hangs from a 14k gold-filled paperclip chain and is available in either an 18” or 30” length.
